Chocolates are good for you

Chocs are good for you...

Here’s‘s  something  that will warm up the cockles  of  your heart. A new paper  published in the British Medical Journal, says that high levels of chocolate consumption are associated with significant  decrease in the risk of developing heart disease. The researchers said that  out of  seven existing studies they analyzed five reported a beneficial association between higher levels of chocolate consumption and the risk of cardiometabolic disorders.

The highest levels of chocolate consumption were associated with a 37% reduction in cardiovascular and a 29% reduction in stroke. However, before you become  a chocoholic you  should know that other factors are more important for a healthy heart such as exercise and proper diet – The Nature Seychelles Green health  program is a great example.  Chocolates are high in calories which could lead to weight gain and diabetes. If the fat and sugar content of over the counter chocolate could be reduced, it would be safer, the researchers say.
